Holy shit, it's been a long time since I've posted.

Some news I guess had happened. I am now nanny to two little girls. Lola was born back on October and is so much fun to be around.

Also, little Liam entered the world, too. We have yet to meet, but hopefully soon!

What else..I took a semester of math. failed. that was fun...hopefully going back to school in summer. I need to save some funds for that. Hopefully I'll take two classes!

It's a whole new year and that means resolutions! I never formally make any, but I always have some floating somewhere in the back of my mind..
this year's "list" is:
get in shape (duh!) not just for me, but to look good in Patrick and Lisa's wedding...because looking good it what it's all about.
cook more! spend less money on eating out. Awful habit we have.
read more-since there are no more harry potters, i can focus my mind back to other books!
organization. organization. organization.
hang out with friends more often. have potlucks again!
spend less money on things I don't need.
...with that, save money.

I think that rounds it up on the resolutions.

Almost 8 months with no post..i'm sure everyone has been waiting in anticipation.

In review;
John and I live together on our own now...in the ghetto.

We still have the cutest dogs. Albert and Penelope.

We have a cat. Sort of. We're taking care of Dan and Christy's while they're on the move to Oregon. I'm going to keep her...sssh!

I still work at Cafe Sunflower and nanny lil' Amelia.

there is a mouse in my kitchen right now. i can hear him. john is asleep and the mouse will go who-knows-where in the house if i try to catch him. eek! it is cold outside..poor guy.

this is not the first time i've heard him. i think what i'm terribly afraid of is it's not a little, cute mouse at all....but a giant, man eating rat. eww! i need a cat, fast!

Wow..I haven't posted in a long time.

Didn't think so..moving on.

We moved into the new house here on 2nd Ave. We are about a whopping mile (if that) from Dan, Christy, Halen (and Bruce and Lucy). I love our house. It's got a huge backyard for the dogs. Hopefully soon, a bbq will go down. Maybe 4th of July?
I want to get a sprinkler system and just run through it with the pups.

Not too much to post..on Tuesdays I am going to be nannying for a little tiny baby girl name Amelia Verone. She's almost three months and is adorable. Her mama owns the Sole shoe store in the Edgewood shopping district...I think being paid in shoes is a fair trade. Who needs electricity when you've got cute shoes?

In other news, my iPod seems to have shit the bed. It doesn't want to work and since I don't have a Windows computer to update it on, I'm screwed. Awesome.

Sunday will not only be for celebrating Father's on this day..but John and I's one year anniversary is that day. To celebrate, a 10:30 showing of Dave Chappelle at the Tabenacle will happen. I should borrow a diaper from Halen...I'm going to pee my pants from laughing.

Well, it's time to go check on all five dogs we have this weekend. Lucy and Bruce are having a slumber party this weekend here with us.

i saw this post on craigslist today about a four month old boxer/american bulldog mix needing a new home. I just thought, "what the hell" and emailed the woman to see if she was still available. I thought she surely would be taken by now after looking at the pictures of her...john got home five minutes later and saw the pictures up and yelled, "i want her now!" five minutes later, the woman emailed me back. two hours later, she was ours! she is fucking adorable. 32 pounds of puppy love. albert loves her. the couple that had her were super nice and had a tank of an APBT. they bred him with another APBT and had three of his puppies with them..cute! they were about 8 weeks old..ahh, i love dogs! here she is in action!

Today is April Fool's Day..I don't have anything witty for you all..sorry.

John and I got new phones today! They are exactly the same, but who cares. We each got one of these:

I love mine and I think secretly John loves his..he acts very non-chalant with it, but hasn't put it down since we got them.

We also went to Petsmart and to the Humane Society...I got teary eyed at the HS because a dog had been there since January and was super sweet. I want to adopt her. I have to save the animals.

I bought John a new Braves hat...I'm sure you'll all see it shortly.

i am sitting at home on a monday morning because we are closed for lunch today. so, i'm spending the early part of my day with albert. he's on the couch right now chewing the shit out of his dog toy. later, i will go to the hockey game witih lisa, nicky, james, and patrick.

it's rainy and gross outside.

my bike is finally outfitted with the proper necessities! john and i rode around in the parking garage to our apartment at eleven o'clock last night with our bikes. mine is definitely cuter...

tonight was pretty laid back. dan, christy(mama to be!), john, and i went to harmony. chicken and string beans.
